Going into today I was thinking this would take about 23 1/2 hours. Didn't wind up being that long.
Screen O Matic wasn't as difficult as I thought so that wound up being ok. Once I figured out you could pause to collect what you were going to say it helped.
I used Analyze on Blooms although others were reached throughout the lesson.

Reflection 2
Today we spent time building our PLN through finding new sources such as twitter and Pintrest. We looked on symbaloo to look for websites including PowToon, and GoAnimate in order to help build our student sample.
In watching the webinar we discovered many ideas on how making the flipped classroom run smoothly is easier than at first thought. Giving students multiple options to accomplish an assignment helps immensely.
The 3 of us ran ideas off of each other after watching the video in order to help us find a way in making it all a bit easier.
In discussing the lesson I will be using the Gilded Age time span and discussing how government and labor unions involvement changed the workplace for the better. Contrary to what Carnagie, Vanderbilt, and Rockefeller thought.

Crushing Barriers
I think the barriers involved with slowing things down in the classroom can be solved through some of these methods.
Student Resistance
Prior Knowledge
Network Issues
Some are simply better with the computer/Time constraints
Convincing them of its importance. If you can tell them about the success they will by into it if the relationship you have with the students is sound.
Prior knowledge is something that can be given while they are learning the process. Prior knowledge helps but isn't necessarily pertinent.
As a teacher we can't fix network issues but we can have a backup plan just in case. However our school is making changes right now that will hopefully make the issue non existent.
Time is probably the biggest issue. I think in the beginning this will be an issue but once it's learned and the students begin buying in it will become less of an issue. As I get better with it they will get better.

Tech Academy: Day 1 Reflection
I think the flipped classroom can be a great tool in helping our students achieve certain goals. The barriers mentioned in my blog will be something that may not be as easy to fix as we might think.
Google drive is another tool that can make the classroom more successful when it gets implemented throughout. I'm looking forward the possibilities.

Barriers to Infusing Technology in the Classroom
The four top barriers faced in the classroom using infused technology are:
- Student Resistance
- Prior Knowledge
- Network Issues
- Some are simply better with the computer/Time constraints
